National Honor Society

Welcome to the website for the Bishop Montgomery High School Chapter of the National Honor Society. Our chapter was proudly established in the 2012-2013 academic year. 

 

NHS membership is open to students in grades 10, 11, and 12. In order to be considered for membership, the student must meet the minimum academic requirement which is a weighted, cumulative GPA of 3.75. 

 

Each year the NHS faculty council selects new members based on their excellence in character, service, leadership and scholarship. Selection as a member of NHS is an honor bestowed upon the student by the school. 

 

Members are required to do 50 hours of service each year, and maintain a weighted, cumulative GPA of 3.75. Once membership is forfeited, it cannot be regained. Members in good standing wear a cord at graduation.
