2023-2024 Registration Information

Academic Counselors will meet with all rising 10th, 11th, and 12th grade students during grade-level meetings on Wednesday, March 8th. Students will receive important information and instructions on selecting their courses for the next school year.

Online Course Selections

During the registration meetings, students will receive instructions on how to make their course selection requests through the Aeries student portal. Students will also receive Course Request forms to help with course planning. The completed forms must be signed by both the student and parent prior to the Course Approval meetings. In addition, any required approval signatures must be obtained.

2023-2024 Course Catalog

The BMHS Course Catalog is an excellent resource for learning more about the courses and academic programs offered at Bishop Montgomery. The course catalog also lists any required prerequisites for our courses. It is the student’s responsibility to make sure that they have met all course prerequisites and to obtain teacher approval signatures as needed. Please note that all course requests will be reviewed by the Academic Counseling team and adjusted for proper placement if necessary.

BMHS Summer School

Bishop offers a variety of summer school classes for students who would like to progress through required courses or who need to remediate a previously taken class. Summer school registration is open March 8 – April 7. After this date, registration will be dependent on course availability. Click here for more information and to access the online summer school registration and payment form. We encourage families to register for summer school early as space is limited, and some classes may fill up quickly.

Course Approval Meetings

  • Current 9th grade – April 4
  • Current 10th grade – March 2
  • Current 11th grade – March 30

The final step in the re-registration process is a follow-up meeting with the Academic Counselors for course approval. The meetings will take place during English classes on the above dates. During these meetings, a counselor will review, approve, and “lock” student course requests. Students must turn in their signed Course Request forms during the meeting. After the above dates, students will no longer be able to make changes to their course requests in Aeries. If any changes are needed at a later date, students should contact their Academic Counselor.

Registration Fee and Parent-Student Contract

The registration fee will be billed on the March tuition statement. We also require that each family complete and sign the Parent-Student Contract annually. Students will receive a copy of the contract to bring home for parents to sign and return by Monday, March 13th. Please understand that we will not be able to release a student’s schedule unless the registration fee has been paid and the parent-student contract has been received.
