English 2 Honors

Course Description

This is a tenth-grade level English literature and composition course designed to help students improve as readers, writers, and critical thinkers. Students will learn and enhance reading comprehension, writing, editing, vocabulary, public speaking, grammar, critical thinking, and organizational skills.

Students will read Night by Elie Wiesel within the first full week of school. Students will then be given a comprehension scantron exam to assess their reading comprehension abilities.

                                                  

 

I update Aeries every day! If absent, please check Aeries for missing Classwork and Homework assignments. All directions and handout for the assignments are attached on Aeries. Google Classroom will also be used in this course and important class information can be found there as well. For policies on late work and make-ups, please refer to your Syllabus.
