John Hong

My name is John Hong and I am currently the Director of Marketing & Communications. I have worked at Bishop Montgomery since 2003 and have previously served as the Director of Publications and have taught AP Seminar, AP Research, Art 1-2, Art 3-4, Computer Design, Web Design, Yearbook, Art History and U.S. History.

I earned my BA from Occidental College in Studio Art and my MA from California State University, Dominguez Hills in Education: Curriculum. I also possess a Single Subject Teaching Credential. I am currently moderating the California Scholarship Federation (CSF), Asian Pacific Islander Student Association (APISA), and Card Collecting Club. I am currently serving or have served on the Advancement Team, Administrative Council, Evaluative Council, Admissions Committee, Disciplinary Board, Technology Committee, WCEA Committee, COVID Task Force, President/Principal Hiring Committee, as an eSports coach, and the Office of Dignity, Empathy, and Justice Committee.
