Incoming Freshman Application Process

9th GRADE APPLICATION PROCESS

STEP 1: SUBMIT YOUR APPLICATION
Complete the online application for admission to Bishop Montgomery. Both the student and parent will have an opportunity to tell us more about the student and why BMHS is the right fit.

STEP 2: SUBMIT SCHOOL RECORDS & RECOMMENDATIONS
After you've submitted your application, you will be able to  return to your application portal to provide names and email addresses to request the required academic records and recommendations from your current school. These materials help our Admissions Committee get to know you as both a student and a member of your school community.

STEP 3: TAKE THE HSPT
All 9th grade applicants must take the High School Placement Test (HSPT). Sign ups are within the application.  HSPT results are considered as part of the admission process and are also used to help determine appropriate academic placement.

*Please note: Bishop Montgomery High School DOES NOT require an interview as part of the application process.

TUITION ASSISTANCE
We believe a Bishop Montgomery education should be accessible to families with demonstrated financial need. Families seeking Tuition Assistance are encouraged to apply at the same time they apply for admission.

ADMISSION DECISIONS
Our Admissions Committee considers the whole student, including the application, academic performance, HSPT results, recommendations, attendance, and citizenship. Families will be notified of admission decisions on Friday, March 5, 2027.
