The Junior Classical League is " an organization of middle school and high school students sponsored by the American Classical League. It is composed of local and state chapters and is the largest Classical organization in the world today. Its purpose is to encourage an interest in and an appreciation of the language, literature, and culture of ancient Greece and Rome and to impart an understanding of the debt of our own culture to that of Classical antiquity."

Students will have the opportunity to join both the National and California chapters of this organization. They must simply pay $5.25 in dues and be enrolled in a Latin class.

Membership for the duration of their time in the Latin program looks great on college applications and provides students with opportunities to apply for scholarships!

Membership also allows students to participate in two different conventions throughout the year. SCRAM is the one day convention that takes place this year on November 15th at Woodbridge High School. More information is available on the SCRAM page.

Membership also allows qualifying students to join the National Junior League Honors Society. Please see the Honors Society page for more info.
