Biography

As a theology teacher formed in the intellectual rigor of Thomas Aquinas, the pastoral clarity of Fulton Sheen, and the profound depth of Benedict XVI, my learning philosophy begins with a conviction that faith and reason are not rivals but partners. I believe theology should equip students to see the unity of truth—where the philosophical precision of Aquinas provides structure, the eloquence of Sheen makes doctrine accessible to the heart, and Benedict XVI’s Christ-centered vision grounds all knowledge in personal encounter with the living God. Teaching theology, therefore, is not merely an academic exercise but a formation of the whole person: mind, heart, and soul. My approach encourages careful reasoning, reverent wonder, and the ability to articulate the faith in a way that both honors tradition and responds to contemporary questions.

At the heart of my philosophy is the conviction that theology must lead to transformation. Like Aquinas, I seek to train students in disciplined thought; like Sheen, I invite them to a radiant love of Christ; and like Benedict XVI, I emphasize the beauty of truth lived out in communion with the Church. My teaching strives to foster a contemplative spirit that does not separate study from prayer but sees learning itself as an act of worship. By forming students to think critically, speak faithfully, and live joyfully, I hope to prepare them not only to understand Catholic theology but to embody it, becoming credible witnesses of Christ in the world.
