Sra. Janette Blake
Spanish I & Spanish IV

¡Hola y bienvenidos a mi página web! I am very excited to be part of the World Languages Department at Bishop Montgomery High School. I was born and raised in the mountains of Ayacucho, Peru, in a large Catholic family and before moving to the United States, I taught Spanish to Quechua-speaking students

In the U.S, I first completed my studies in Early Childhood Education at El Camino College. I later graduated from California State University, Long Beach with a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and earned my Single Subject Teaching Credential in Spanish from CSULB. English is my third language, and I truly enjoy sharing my multicultural background and love of languages with my students.

Before joining Bishop Montgomery, I taught Spanish for more than five years at St. Catherine Laboure School. I live in the South Bay with my husband, our two children, Alex and Vanessa, and our two very friendly dogs. I look forward to sharing the Spanish language and culture with the BMHS community!
