Registration Information Meetings

Academic Counselors will meet with all rising 10th, 11th, and 12th-grade students on Tuesday, February 24. Students will receive important information and instructions on selecting their courses for the next school year.

Online Course Selections

During the registration meetings, students will receive instructions on how to submit their course selection requests through the Aeries student portal. Students will also receive Course Request forms to support course planning. The completed forms must be signed by both the student and the parent before registration day on Friday, March 20. In addition, any required approval signatures or stamps must be obtained on registration day in the gym. 

Honors/Advanced Placement Unmet Prerequisites

Students who wish to enroll in an Honors or Advanced Placement course without meeting the required prerequisites may submit the Unmet Prerequisite Appeal Request here by May 1, 2026. Please note that submitting a waiver request does not guarantee approval.                    

2026-2027 Course Catalog

The BMHS Course Catalog is an excellent resource for learning more about the courses and academic programs offered at Bishop Montgomery. It also lists any required prerequisites for our courses. It is the student’s responsibility to ensure they have met all course prerequisites and to obtain teacher approval signatures as needed. Please note that all course requests will be reviewed by the Academic Counseling team and adjusted for proper placement if necessary.

BMHS Summer School

Bishop offers a variety of summer school classes for students who wish to advance in required coursework or remediate a previously taken class. Summer school registration is open from February 24 through June 12. Students planning to complete a course prerequisite during the summer should register before March 20 to be eligible to select the higher-level course on registration day. Families are encouraged to register early, as individual class registration will close once capacity is reached.

Course Approval

The final step in the registration process is to obtain a signature from a BMHS Academic Counselor on registration day in the gym. At this time, a counselor will review, approve, and “lock” students’ course requests. Students must submit their signed Course Request forms at this time. After the above dates, students will no longer be able to make changes to their course requests in Aeries. If any changes are needed later, students should contact their Academic Counselor.

Registration Fee

The registration fee will be billed on the March tuition statement. Please note that Bishop Montgomery will not release a student’s schedule until the registration fee has been paid.
