Principal Rosemary Libbon To Retire June 30

Dear Bishop Montgomery Students, Parents, Faculty, Alumni & Friends,

As many of you know, I’ve been principal of Bishop Montgomery for 21 years. I came to Bishop Montgomery in the summer of 1997; my first graduating class was the Class of 1998.  Needless to say, I’ve been principal for a very long time, 21 of the school’s 60 years.

I wanted to let you know that after much thought and much prayer, I have decided to retire and that the Class of 2018 will be my last graduating class and June 30, 2018 will be my last day at Bishop Montgomery.

This has been a very hard decision because, as you know, I love the students and the school with all my heart. It is very hard for me to think of not being here. It has been my joy to serve here, to be with such a wonderful faculty and staff, and to have had so many, many amazing students who are and have been and continue to be my heart and my great love.

Know that I thank you for all of your support and your love. My heart will always be here at Bishop Montgomery.

With thanks and love,

Rosemary Libbon
Principal
