Torrance, CA (February 3, 2014): Former Bishop Montgomery basketball standout Tyler Harvey '11 is having quite the sophomore season at Eastern Washington University. And for his efforts recently, he has collected several honors.
For the second time in the four weeks, Harvey was named Big Sky Conference Player-of-the-Week. On Saturday night in a 94-90 overtime win against Northern Colorado, Harvey made a school record ten 3-pointers en route to 38 points. It was the 6th highest point total in EWU history. In addition to his prowess on the court, Harvey is also finding a great deal of success in the classroom. He was recently named Eastern Washington University Athletic Department Male Scholar-of-the-Month for February. Harvey is a communications major who is carrying a 3.61 grade point average. click here to read more.
