Three Student-Athletes Named 1st Team All-CIF

Three BMHS winter student-athletes were named 1st Team All-CIF in their respective sports by the California Interscholastic Federation.
 
Junior forward Lamond Murray, Jr. '13 was named 1st Team All-CIF in the tough Division 4AA. He led the boys' basketball team to a 23-5 overall record in 2011-12. The Knights advanced to the CIF Division 4AA quarterfinals.
 
Senior forward Devon Brookshire '12 (pictured) was named 1st Team All-CIF in Division 4AA. She led the girls' basketball team to a 17-11 record in 2011-12 and a trip to the 2nd round of the CIF Division 4AA playoffs. It was Brookshire's third time being named 1st Team All-CIF. She sat out the 2nd half of her junior year after suffering a knee injury.
 
Senior defender Jessica Flores '12 was named 1st Team All-CIF in Division 3 in girls' soccer. Flores led the Lady Knights to a 10-12-2 record and a trip to the CIF playoffs. It was Flores' second time being named All-CIF. She signed a letter-of-intent to play soccer at USC.
