Torrance, CA (May 30, 2023): Bishop Montgomery is excited to announce the hiring of two new head coaches for the 2023-24 school year.
Kevin Clarke '86 has been hired as the new boys' soccer head coach. Clarke is no stranger to the program. As a player, Clarke was a 4-year varsity letterwinner who helped the Knights to the 1982-83 CIF-SS title. He was a 3-time all-league player and was named 1st Team All-CIF as a senior in 1985-86. For Clarke, it will be his second stint as head coach of the boys' program. He served as head coach from 1995-96 to 1999-00. In his five seasons, he led the Knights to a 73-26-18 record, three league titles and five CIF-SS playoff appearances.

Jake Kurzrock, also no stranger to BMHS, has been named new boys' volleyball head coach. Kurzrock served the last two seasons as the JV Head Coach. He also coaches for Southern California Volleyball Club. He played volleyball at Briar Cliff University in Iowa.
