Torrance, CA (November 1, 2021):
Bishop Montgomery is excited to announce that Koral Costa has been named Head Softball Coach at Bishop Montgomery. She is the tenth softball coach in school history. Costa was hired as an Assistant Athletic Director at the beginning of the school year and now takes over the softball program.

Costa grew up locally, attending San Pedro High School. After high school, she matriculated to the University Oregon on a softball scholarship. She had a distinguished career at Oregon, where she was named an All-American and played in two Women’s College World Series. She also played professionally for two years and was a member of the Mexican National Softball Team for five years.

Costa received her Master’s Degree in Coaching and Athletic Administration and has coached college softball at Concordia University and Marymount California University.

"We are thrilled to have Koral lead our softball program," says BMHS Athletic Director Doug Mitchell. "She is a dynamic leader and she will have a tremendous impact on the program."
