Torrance, CA (September 28, 2021):
Since the 2006 football season, three Bishop Montgomery players have recorded a passing, rushing and receiving touchdown in the same season.

He went on to star at Cal and is currently playing basketball professionally in Europe.

In 2018, Origel put together an historic season for the Knights. He threw for 12 touchdowns, rushed for 17 touchdowns and caught one touchdown pass. That season, he became the third player in school history to record 700+ yards in two offensive categories (passing and rushing yards). His 17 rushing touchdowns in 2018 are the third most in single season history. Following the 2018 season, Origel was named Camino Real League Most Valuable Player. He currently plays at Los Angeles Harbor College.
