Sumer Nicole Alvarez '03 Scholarship

The Sumer Nicole Alvarez '03 Memorial Scholarship was established in 2007 by Sumer’s parents, Dave Alvarez and Sandy Murphy. The scholarship is named in memory of the 2003 BMHS graduate who passed away on July 31, 2005. Sumer is remembered as a selfless, noble, and diverse young lady who cared deeply about her family, friends, and fellow mankind. The scholarship provides college tuition assistance to those students who “live like Sumer” and possess some of her same spirit.

How to Apply
Students must apply for this scholarship through Campus Ministry. Contact the Campus Ministry Office at 310.540.2021 x243 or email [email protected].
