Student Assessments

Assessment is an essential part of learning, providing meaningful feedback to students, teachers, and families. Teachers employ a variety of assessment methods to ensure that every student has multiple ways to demonstrate understanding. Students in grades 9-11 complete PSAT assessments in the fall and Star assessments in reading and math during three testing windows throughout the school year. In 2025, 300 AP students completed 679 AP exams.

I am proud to have been part of the Bishop Montgomery High School community since 2001. Over the years, I have served in a variety of roles, including Math Teacher, Department Chair, Assessment Coordinator, Registrar, and most recently, Dean of Curriculum and Assessment. My goal is to ensure a rigorous, engaging, and equitable learning experience for all students. I am committed to supporting students and teachers, encouraging innovation in instruction, and aligning curriculum and assessment practices to prepare students for college, careers, and lifelong learning.
