About Me

Welcome! I am delighted to share my journey with you. My educational path has taken me across three countries, enriching my understanding of diverse cultures and perspectives.

I began my academic journey in Mexico, where I completed my elementary, middle, and high school education. I earned a bachelor’s degree in Educational Psychology from Universidad Iberoamericana, along with a certificate in Philosophy. My thirst for knowledge then led me to Rome, Italy, where I obtained my Master’s degree from the Pontifical Theological Faculty "MARIANUM."

I later pursued a Master's degree and a Ph.D. in Marriage and Family Therapy, graduating in 2014. This unique combination of theology and psychology has greatly informed my teaching, allowing me to help students develop a more holistic understanding of themselves and their relationships.

In 2005, I moved to the United States and joined the Diocese of San Bernardino in California. Over the next 18 years, I had the privilege of serving in various capacities. Notably, I taught at the Ministry Formation Institute from 2006 to 2018, and later, I shared my passion for learning at San Bernardino Valley College from 2019 to 2022. From 2022 to 2024, I taught Theology at Aquinas High School and also coached the JVS Soccer team.

Currently, I am honored to teach theology at Bishop Montgomery High School, guiding three groups of 9th graders and two groups of 10th graders. Throughout my career, I have come to realize that teaching is my true vocation. I am passionate about impacting my students' lives through knowledge, fostering critical thinking, and inspiring them with my testimony of Catholic values.

I draw my inspiration from the ultimate Teacher—Jesus—whose words and actions continue to guide my mission as an educator. I look forward to helping my students become not only better scholars but also better human beings and faithful Catholics. Thank you for being part of this journey with me!
