Keira Mung

My name is Keira Mung, but students can call me Mrs. Mung. I am an English Language Learning Teacher for the International Department within the BMHS International Academy. In this program, international students have the opportunity to study abroad here in the U.S. This will be my sixth year at this school. My previous teaching experience includes teaching English to all grades, including teaching in diverse public schools in Minnesota, and teaching at a private language school in South Korea. I have been teaching for ten years. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in teaching English as a Second Language (K-12) from the University of Northwestern - St. Paul. I enjoy working alongside international students to help them succeed academically and prepare them for college or university. I teach classes that are geared towards developing non-native English speakers' academic writing and composition skills. In my free time, you might find me playing with my lovable dog, building LEGOS, reading sci-fi/fantasy novels, or going to the arcade!

Syllabi for the classes I teach are on the right side:

  • ARC (Academic Reading and Composition) Foundations
  • ARC (Academic Reading and Composition) Introduction (1)
  • Bridge Class (Extension of ARC Foundations Class)
