Torrance, CA (Tuesday, February 12): Bishop's International Club hosted a "World Expo" at lunch complete with music, food booths and games for students to enjoy. Headed up by club president Thomas Li '19 and International Academic Counselor Ms. Jennifer Sabol, the lunchtime event provided hundreds of students the opportunity to "go global" and experience some of the favorite activities and culinary delights of cultures other than their own.
Included in the festivities was a Spicy Ramen Challenge (Korea), Tinikling (Philippines), Egg-on-Spoon Race (Chili), and Snack Sampling (China, Korea, Fiji and India). Bishop's own musicians added to the ambiance of the event. Students enjoyed the opportunity to fill their lunchtime with learning, friends, and a lot of fun!
