Torrance, CA (June 22, 2018): Bishop Montgomery alumna Danielle Shanahan '13 has signed a professional contract with HOKA Northern Arizona Elite to continue her running career.
Shanahan completed an outstanding career at Loyola Marymount with a 43rd place finish at the 2017 NCAA Cross Country Championships.
While at BMHS, Shanahan had a decorated career in cross country and track. In cross country, she won two league titles and a CIF individual title. She was also a 3-time state finalist and was named All-State in 2012 as a senior.
On the track, she was the 2013 CIF-SS Division 3 3200m champion. She holds the school records in both the 1600m (4:49.71) and 3200m (10:25.40)
