Torrance, CA (April 13, 2018): Fr. Victor (Paul) Abegg ‘62 was elected Minister Provincial of the Conventual Franciscan Province of St. Joseph of Cupertino on April 11 at the 11th Ordinary Chapter of the Conventual Franciscans of California. He is currently serving as pastor of St. Paul’s Church, Pismo Beach, CA.
His previous assignments include teaching in the science department at Cal Poly Pomona for several years, followed by ministering as Rector of the Shrine of St. Francis of Assisi, San Francisco, CA. Fr. Victor earned a Ph.D in Chemistry from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
