Torrance, CA (December 21, 2017): The girls' varsity soccer team continued their solid play by winning the San Pedro Tournament title last night with a 1-0 victory over San Pedro HS. Freshman Kacey Alejandre '21 scored with under a minute to play for the only score of the game. The Lady Knights played solid defense, led by captain Gianna Schiappa '18, in front of goalkeeper Nicole Marafino '18, who had her 7th shutout of the year in goal.
In the tournament, BMHS outscored their opponents 11-0. They beat Verdugo 5-0, CAMS 2-0, Taft 3-0 and San Pedro 1-0.
