Five Sign Letters-of-Intent

Torrance, CA (November 15, 2016): Five student-athletes made it official today when they signed their National Letters-of-Intent to continue their athletic careers in college. All five student-athletes earned full scholarships at their respective Division I universities.

Sydney Hall '17, a standout on the girls' volleyball team, signed with East Carolina University. She helped lead the Lady Knights to the CIF quarterfinals.

Nnena Nadozie '17 was a 4-year letterwinner and two-time Del Rey League singles champion for BMHS. She helped lead the team to four team league titles. She signed with San Diego State.

Zia Norris '17 has been a standout softball player since a young age. She is a two-time all league player. She signed with UCLA.

Jordan Schakel '17 is a 4-year letterwinner and an All-CIF player for the basketball team. He is currently the 70th ranked player in the country in the senior class and he signed with San Diego State.

Ethan Thompson '17 is also a 4-year letterwinner and an All-CIF selection for the basketball team. He is the 34th ranked player in the country in his class and he has signed with Oregon State, where he will join his brother and fellow BMHS alumnus Stephen Thompson, Jr. '15.
