Torrance, CA (April 11, 2016): Each year, the Bishop Montgomery Athletic Booster Club sponsors the Damien Mendoza Scholarship and awards a scholarship to one male and one female student-athlete. The scholarship is for one month's tuition and it is applied to the following year's tuition.
If you are interested in applying for the scholarship, you must write a 1-2 page essay about "What it means to be a student-athlete at Bishop Montgomery."
Please note: do not put your name on the essay; rather, attach a separate sheet of paper to your essay with your name.
The scholarship is open to current BMHS student-athletes who are in grades 9-11.
Due Date: Friday, April 15
Where: Place your essay in an envelope and turn in to the front office.
