The Destry Bell '83 Memorial Scholarship Fund was created last year not only to provide tuition assistance to deserving BMHS students, but also to help preserve the great legacy of Destry Bell '83. Destry impacted the lives of so many people - his BMHS classmates, friends, and basketball teammates, his co-workers in the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, and his family - and it is the goal of the scholarship to provide BMHS students with the same opportunities Destry had.
