Torrance, CA (April 27, 2015): A pair of Bishop Montgomery boys' basketball players were recently named to the All-State All-Sophomore 1st Team by CalHiSports.com. Jordan Schakel '17 and Ethan Thompson '17 were named to the elite team after helping the Knights to the CIF-SS Open Division title.
Schakel, a 6-7 forward, was also named 1st Team All-CIF earlier in the month and last week was named to the Daily Breeze All-Area team.
Thompson, a 6-4 guard, earned 2nd Team All-CIF honors and was named All-Area by the Daily Breeze as well.
