We are so excited to announce that we will be adding another team to the Bishop Montgomery High School Spirit Squad! At this year's audition we will be selecting members for our 2014-2015 Junior Varsity Song Team as well as our 2014-2015 Varsity Song Team! The Junior Varsity Song Team will be a great addition to our already successful Spirit Squad and will provide even more support for our sports team. Even better, it will provide an opportunity for even more Bishop Montgomery students to be involved in a school team and show their school spirit.
Attached is a flier outlining all of the important dates you will need be aware of if you are planning to audition. Specific details about each team as well as the application and program packet will be distributed at the mandatory informational meeting on March 27, 2014 at 3:30pm.
Many of you have also asked for information regarding additional training opportunities as you prepare for the upcoming auditions. This coming Monday March 3, 2014 there will be an open dance technique class for all those interested in being a part of the Song Team program. It is open to everyone, regardless of whether or not to actually to decide to tryout, and is an opportunity for everyone to gain some skills that may help you during the audition process. The class will be held on Bishop Montgomery High School's campus in the Student Activities Center from 4:00pm-5:30pm. The class is $10.00 per student.
