Bishop Leadership Day for 5th-7th Graders

Bishop Montgomery is looking for 5th, 6th, and 7th grade girls and boys who are ready to be challenged, want to help the larger community, and are anxious to learn how to be better leaders at their school!

BMHS, in association with The Association of Catholic Student Councils (TACSC), will host "Student Leadership Day" on Friday, March 14 and all students grades 5-7 are invited. TACSC is a national Catholic youth training and development organization that provides workshops to help students explore and hone their leadership skills and talents.

Student Leadership Day will be a one-day workshop providing valuable leadership lessons through fun and hands-on training, activities, and experiences for current student council members, future student council members, or any students who want to develop their leadership skills. The workshop, comprised of three modules: "Think," "Practice," and "Do," will allow students to explore important leadership topics including goal-setting, creativity, organization, teamwork and Christian service.

If this sounds like an interesting opportunity-- you're right... it is!  So, come join us!  Bring your friends!  As long as you're a fifth, sixth or seventh grade student, no other qualifications are required.

Bishop's Student Leadership Day will be Friday, March 14 from 9:00-2:30pm on the Bishop campus. Cost is $20 per student. Space is limited. For more information and to register, visit the TACSC website www.tacsc.org.
