Three Student-Athletes Sign Letters-of-Intent

Torrance, CA (February 5, 2014): Three more Bishop Montgomery student-athletes signed national letters-of-intent to continue their playing careers in college at a ceremony in the gymnasium today at lunch.

Louie Soto '14, a three-year starter at quarterback for the football team, signed with the University of San Diego. During his time at BMHS, Soto led the Knights to the playoffs all three years. In 2013, he was a 1st Team All-Del Rey League selection after passing for 1,544 yards and 10 touchdowns. He also rushed for 5 TD's. He recently played in the West Torrance Lions All-Star Football Game where he threw a touchdown pass to help his team win.

Bryce Watts '14, a 4-year member of the girls' soccer team, signed with the University of California, Berkeley. She was a 2nd Team All-Del Rey League selection as a freshman. So far this season, Watts has helped lead the team to a 11-6-3 record.

Tatiana Zuvic '14, also a member of the girls' soccer team, signed with Cal State, Los Angeles. Zuvic was named 2nd Team All-Del Rey League as both a sophomore and a junior.
