Torrance, CA (September 23, 2013): Bishop Montgomery alumnus Chandler Jones '09, a senior receiver at San Jose State, was named National Wide Receiver Performer of the Week by the College Football Performance Awards program.
On Saturday at the University of Minnesota, Jones caught 7 passes for 197 yards and 3 touchdowns for the Spartans. His three TD grabs tied the San Jose State single game record. He also tied the school record for career touchdown catches with 18.
