Torrance, CA (September 19, 2013): The BMHS Ambassadors, a service organization on campus moderated by religion instructor John Fitzsimons, dedicate their efforts serving the community in many ways. They host 7th and 8th graders who shadow during the school day; they assist the admissions office with high school nights and classroom visits to BMHS' partner schools; and they help with many events on campus where they serve as the welcoming committee.
For the Fourth consecutive year, the BMHS Ambassadors will also volunteer at "An Evening With Angels," a fundraising event hosted by the San Pedro Region Catholic Charities. The event is a dinner and silent auction in which Most Reverend Bishop Oscar Solis helps honor people from parishes all over the San Pedro Pastoral Region. This year's event will be held on October 4, 2013 in Long Beach.
