Torrance, CA (July 17, 2013): Bishop Montgomery point guard Justin Bibbins '14 has had a busy summer on the basketball court. In addition to working out with the Knights, he has been traveling with his AAU team, the Compton Magic.
Yesterday, Bibbins made a verbal commitment to play at Long Beach State after receiving a scholarship offer from the school.
Bibbins, who has started for the Knights since his freshman year, had an outstanding season in 2012-13. He was named 1st Team All-Del Rey League, 1st Team DAily Breeze All-Area, and 2nd Team Junior All-State team by CalHiSports after averaging 12.9 points and 5.4 assists per game for the 32-2 Knights.
