Keegan Featherstone Named Girls' Volleyball Coach

Torrance, CA (July 9, 2013): Bishop Montgomery has hired Keegan Featherstone as their new head girls' volleyball coach, replacing Kevin Norman. Norman will continue to serve as the boys' volleyball coach at BMHS.

Featherstone was a 2-time CIF champion at Mira Costa High School and a 4-year starter at libero at UC Irvine from 2002-2005. At UCI, she ranks 5th in both single season digs (438) and career digs (1,046) and was a 3-time UCI/Big West Conference Scholar-Athlete. Following graduation from UC Irvine, Featherstone played professionally from 2007-2010 on the AVP tour. 

She earned her B.A. in Sociology from UCI and holds a Single Subject Math Credential from Long Beach State. 

Prior to coming to Bishop Montgomery, Featherstone coached the freshman girls' team at Mira Costa and coached at Surfside Volleyball Club and Orange County Volleyball Club. She currently coaches for the Southern California Volleyball Club.

In addition to her duties as girls' volleyball coach, Featherstone will teach Geometry and Algebra at BMHS.
