Torrance, CA (May 28, 2013): Bishop Montgomery distance runner Danielle Shanahan '13 has not only qualified for the State Track Finals this weekend, she has done so in record fashion. Shanahan finished 2nd in both the 1600m and 3200m on Friday at the CIF Master's Meet to qualify for the state finals. In both races, Shanahan broke the school records that she already owns. She ran a 4:52.17 in the 1600m and ran 10:25.40 in the 3200m.
The state finals will be held May 31 - June 1 at Buchanan High School in Clovis, California.
