Torrance, CA (May 20, 2013): On Saturday, senior Danielle Shanahan '13 claimed an individual CIF-SS title when she won the Divsion III title in the 3200m at Mt. SAC in a time of 10:31.50 to cruise to victory. With the win, Shanahan qualifies for the prestigious CIF Master's Meet on Friday, May 24 at Cerritos College.
Earlier in the day, Shanahan finished 2nd in the 1600m in a time of 4:53.31. She qualified for the Master's Meet in the 1600m as well.

It has been an impressive year for Shanahan. In November, she became the first runner in school history to win a CIF cross country title when she won the Division IV race.
