Two Student-Athletes Make College Choices

Torrance, CA (April 17, 2013): Two Bishop Montgomery student-athletes made their college commitments official today when they signed their national letters-of-intent at a ceremony at lunch in the gymnasium in front of family and friends.

Girls' cross country and track standout Danielle Shanahan '13 signed her letter-of-intent with Loyola Marymount University. Shanahan won BMHS' first individual cross country title in school history this year. She also finished 2nd in the state finals this year.

Girls' volleyball standout Juliette McCall '13 signed her letter-of-intent with Merrimack College (MA). In 2012, McCall helped lead the Lady Knights volleyball team to the CIF Division I semi-finals and was a 1st Team All-Del Rey League selection.
