This Spring, Whitaker will appear in National Geographic Channel’s series Are You Tougher Than a Boy Scout? In the series, Whitaker and other Eagle Scouts compete against adults in a series of competitions like white-water rafting, rappelling, and rock climbing. “The adults are either ex-military or former boy scouts who did not earn Eagle Scout badges,” explains Whitaker. “It was a lot of fun.” The series was filmed in Sequioa National Park this past June and will air sometime in the spring. Whitaker, a member of BMHS’ swim team, plans to attend either Howard University or Hampton University and double-major in music and business.
