Torrance, CA (January 9, 2013): The BMHS girls' soccer and basketball teams won their Del Rey League openers yesterday in convincing fashion.
Girls' Soccer
Erin Discipulo '13 and Kylie Prentice '14 each scored two goals in the Lady Knights' 10-0 win over Mary Star at home. They are 5-5 overall and 1-0 in league.
Girls' Basketball
The Lady Knights were led by sophomores Nao Shiota '15 and Christine Delapina '14, who each scored 14 points in the 70-48 win at home over La Salle. Shiota added 5 steals and Delapina added 6 rebounds and 5 assists for the Lady Knights (16-3, 1-0).
