Torrance, CA (December 23, 2012): The Bishop Montgomery boys' basketball team, ranked 8th in the state by CalHiSports.com and 15th in the nation by Max Preps, won the prestigious Mission Prep Christmas Classic National Division title last night with a 68-53 win over Seattle Prep.
Senior forward Lamond Murray, Jr. '13 led the Knights with 27 points and was named tournament MVP. Senior Ognjen Miljkovic '13 added 13 points and sophomore guard Stephen Thompson, Jr. '15 added 11 points.
The Knights are currently 9-0 on the season.
