Torrance, CA (December 20, 2012): The Bishop Montgomery boys' basketball team, coached by Doug Mitchell, moved up to 8th in the state boys' basketball rankings according to Cal Hi Sports.
The Knights, currently 6-0 on the season, began the season ranked 19th, but have moved up after wins over ranked teams Serra and Westchester. The Knights are currently playing in the Mission Prep Christmas Classic in San Luis Obispo.
