Torrance, CA (December 20, 2012): The BMHS boys' basketball team, ranked 8th in the state by Cal Hi sports, opened up the Mission Prep Christmas Classic with a 72-57 win over the host school in an out-of-bracket game last night.
The Knights, who will play in the National Division of the tournament, were led by senior Lamond Murray, Jr. '13 and sophomore Stephen Thompson, Jr. '15, both of whom had 21 points. Junior Justin Bibbins '14 scored 14 points for the Knights, who take on Brighton HS (UT) today in their first round of bracket play.
