Torrance, CA (December 3, 2012): Girls' cross country standout Danielle Shanahan '13, the CIF-SS Division IV champion and State Division IV runner-up, finished 13th at the Foot Locker West Region Cross Country Championships on Saturday at Mt. SAC.
Shanahan finished the 5 kilometer race in 19:04 on a soggy, muddy course at Mt. San Antonio College. Runners represented 12 states, including California, Utah, Oregon, Montana, Washington, Idaho, Arizona, New Mexico, Nevada, Hawaii, Wyoming, and Alaska.
Shanahan completed her cross country season as the most decorated female cross country runner in school history.
