Wednesday's Signing Day A Busy Affair

Torrance, CA (November 13, 2012): Signing day will be Wednesday, November 14 in the BMHS gymnasium and it will be a crowded day for Bishop Montgomery's student-athletes who are set to make their college commitments official.
 
Senior volleyball standout Bria Green '13 will sign a national letter-of-intent to continue her playing career at the University of Alabama. The Lady Knights' standout has had a brilliant career, leading her team to a deep run in the CIF-SS 1A playoffs.
 
The boys' basketball team will have three athletes sign Division I letters-of-intent, with at least one more to follow in the later signing period. Senior forward Lamond Murray, Jr. 13 will sign with Pepperdine University. A pair of players will sign with the University of Hawaii - senior guard Niko Filipovich '13 and senior center Stefan Jovanovic '13.
 
Senior forward Ognjen Milijkovic '13 is also expected to sign a Divsion I basketball letter-of-intent at a later date.
 
A few other BMHS student-athletes are expected to sign letters-of-intent in February. Boys' tennis standout Errol Smith '13 and girls' cross country runner Danielle Shanahan '13 are expected to continue their athletic careers in college.
