Torrance, CA (October 23, 2012): On Saturday, October 20, longtime Bishop Montgomery custodian Frank Hernandez passed away from liver and kidney failure. He was 68.
Frank began working at Bishop Montgomery in 1976 and spent the last 36 years working at the school. Most of his years at BMHS were spent as the maintenance foreman and his impact on the school is far-reaching.
He is survived by his father, two brothers and 2 sisters. Services for Frank will be in Mexico.
BMHS will honor Frank Hernandez and Jorge Alvarado, who passed away on October 6, at Thanksgiving Mass on November 20. Mass will be in the gymnasium at 8:00am.
