Torrance, CA (October 5, 2012): Two more Bishop Montgomery senior boys' basketball players have joined Lamond Murray, Jr. '13 (Pepperdine) in making their college choices and continuing their playing careers at the Division I level.
Senior guard Niko Filipovich '13 and senior center Stefan Jovanovic '13 have made verbal commitments to the University of Hawaii.
Filipovich, a 6-2 guard, has been a member of the BMHS varsity team since his freshman year. He had an outstanding junior year last year for the Knights and continued his excellent play in the summer.
Jovanovic, a 6-10 center, transfered to BMHS as a sophomore. The native of Serbia was named 2nd Team All-Del Rey League last year as a junior.
