Torrance, CA (August 29, 2012): BMHS senior kicker Jonathan Kim '13, a four year varsity starter for the Knights' football team, was the focus of a Los Angeles Times article today. Kim is one of the top kickers in southern California and his goal is to attend West Point and kick for the Cadets after he graduates from Bishop Montgomery in May. Kim's two brothers, Michael (BMHS Class of 2008) and Justin (Class of 2011) both play soccer at West Point.
In the Knights' 2012 season opener last week at Desert Mirage High School, Kim was a perfect 3-3 on field goal attempts, including a 47-yarder into the wind and he converted all four PAT's. Additionally, he was 7-8 on touchbacks.
