Torrance, CA (August 4, 2012): Bishop Montgomery High School alumna Carmelita Jeter '98 won the silver medal in the women's 100m today at the 2012 London Olympics.
Jeter finished 2nd to Jamaica's Shelly Ann Fraser-Pryce (10.75) to take the silver medal. Jeter ran the race in a time of 10.78.
