BMHS Junior Competes at National Twirling Championships

Torrance, CA (July 23, 2012): BMHS junior Caroline Glymph '14 captured the 3rd place award at the National Twirling Championships at the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, Indiana this past week.

Over 4000 twirling athletes competed during the week of July 14-21. Glymph advanced to the finals of 30 competitors in the "Junior Division" (age 16 and under), with both male and female feature twirlers. She performed a flawless 3-baton routine and won the Bronze Medal, missing the Gold by the smallest margin, 0.02 points.

Glymph will return to perform for BMHS in the Fall. She is looking forward to an exciting year as the Featured Twirler with the BMHS Marching Band, under the direction of Mr. Eric Hankey.
