Torrance, CA (May 30, 2012): On the weekend of May 19-20, Bishop Montgomery sophomore Richard Duval '14 fenced in the California State High School Fencing Championships in Los Angeles where he finished second. Duval advanced through pool play and through his side of the bracket before falling to a fencer from Harvard-Westlake 15-8.
Duval fences out of the Beverly Hills Fencing Club; however, he competed under the Bishop Montgomery name during the state championships.
